Lucas rubs the towel on his head, drying his freshly-washed hair as he emerges from the bathroom. It's been a long day, but a good one. Somehow the sadness of approaching autumn is lessened by the bright mums ready for planting.

But tonight is a good night to settle in with one of his books, this time one with information on the Runaway Five. It seems like a good one to share with Duster.

"No, but he came by here not too long ago. Somebody hit him in the face with an inkwell."

He folds his arms over his chest.

"I patched him up all right, but I ain't seen anybody do that here before."

"Is-is he okay?!" Getting hit in the face with glass is a very painful thing.

"If he's still awake, I can go see him an' ask how he's feelin'."

"Yeah, he's all right. He went to see one of the doctors downstairs before coming up to me."

Lucas scratches at his cheek.

"He might not wanna talk too much about it. He said he baited 'em. Not that it makes hittin' him all right, but he didn't say much more about that. The person who did it is in the cells for three nights."

"Milliways has a jail? I'm surprised I never heard of it before."

He motions toward the room.

"You wanna sit down inside an' talk?"

"Yeah. There're security people here, but I've never got in trouble with 'em."

He nods, yawning a little before stepping back in.

"Yeah, I think so. I found another book, too."

Duster walks into the room and sits on his bed.

"Another book? What kind this time?"

"I got one about the Runaway Five. They were on my list of things to look up."

He picks it up from the little desk acquired for the piles of books.

"I was introduced to 'em here, but I remember seein' a picture of 'em back in New Pork City."

"They got a book on them? I was listenin' to their music outside before I came here, and they're really good!

Where was the picture of them in New Pork?"

"It was in the cinema. They were the only thing I really recognized from the pictures that I could look up, so it seemed like a good idea."

"Can I see the picture? Maybe I'll recognize them."

Lucas hands over the book for Duster to see.

"I think this book's a lotta pictures, but there's some band info in there."

Duster flips through the pages and glances at the photos of a group of men in suits and shades. Two singers, a keyboardist that reminds him of Shimmy Zmizz, a bassist, a saxophone player, and someone playing a small drum.

"You think Porky had a picture of them because he liked their music? It looks like they were really popular."

"Maybe he did. But I think they got somethin' to do with someone Porky liked more."

Lucas holds up a hand and goes to his things, digging through his collection of stuff from both their world and Milliways.

Duster continues to read through the book on the Runaway Five, looking for information about their music. They mostly played jazz and blues, but he already knew that from listening to their music.

He decides to check the index for a chapter on musical analysis.

Lucas makes a small "ah-ha!" of triumph as he pulls something out of his things.

"I remember that all of the pictures in the cinema had the same person in 'em," he says, holding up a yo-yo. "I think he mighta been Porky's best friend."

Duster puts the book on his bed and walks over to Lucas. "This is the yo-yo we got in Thunder Tower, right?"

"Yeah. King P's Best Friend Yo-Yo. It's kinda like that collection of stuff we saw, isn't it?"

"I think those were things he took from his world, too.

You think all of those belonged to that one person?"

"I dunno," he answers with a shrug. "Maybe some of them did. It seemed like a lot. But maybe they were all important to that person."

"You've been readin' 'about the old world, right? You think we might finds answers in there?"

"Maybe. It's been interestin' to learn about the old world anyway."

He toys with the yo-yo, winding it and looping the string on his finger.

"There're a lotta things that connect to Porky somehow."

"I guess so. He's the reason why everything from the old world came to Tazmily."

Lucas tries to yo-yo without much success.

"It's been a bunch to look up, but I just realized I haven't asked for anything about Porky himself."

"That would be a good idea. If he could time travel, I'm sure someone wrote 'bout him in the old world."

"Yeah, that's prob'ly right," Lucas agrees, still messing with the yo-yo. "I looked up the stuff that I thought was more important already."

But what could have happened that made Porky the person they met? What spurred his first decision to travel through time? Why did he persist even as it took its toll on his body?

What are they going to find?
