Lucas peers into the door from Milliways.

Yep, still Kumatora's bathroom.

"I'll be right back," he tells Enzo and Tyler.

He steps into the bathroom and out into Kumatora's bedroom, Boney beside him. The three talk for a bit, catching up after the three years they've been separated. What to do about Duster, the Hummingbird Egg, and the Pigmask Army.

The plan is simple enough: Lucas is going to go up into the attic while Kumatora, as Violet, goes out and collects the members of DCMC. Once she's out of the room, Lucas goes back to Milliways.

"So guys, I think there might be a change of plans. I gotta sneak through the attic so the bodyguards in the hallway won't see me. Feel like coming along?"

Boney, wearing a red and white cap and a green shirt, pokes his head out and gives them a "Woof!" of greeting.

The three Pigmasks that Lucas mentioned before are there, though the girls aren't around for now. Their conversation seems to be rather mundane.

"So what do you use those hooks on the stall door for?" one of the lower ranked ones asks.

"I always hang my helmet up on it," the other replies.

"You take your helmet off when you go to the bathroom?" the higher ranked one asks.

"Well sure. You don't?"

"Then what do you use the hooks for?"

....eh. Maybe he can learn something.

One invisible boy listening into the conversation.

"I put my cloak on the hook," the higher ranked Pigmask said.

"Huh," said one of the subordinates. "I didn't think about that."

"That would keep it from going into the toilet, wouldn't it?"

"But we don't have cloaks."

"Hey!" says one of the lower ranked Pigmasks, spying Enzo. "What're you doing here, kid?"

Enzo freezes for a moment. Think fast, rabbit...

Then he relaxes. "I came for the concert. Now I'm waiting for a friend to meet me here."

It's even mostly true.

Enzo, you are now also playing another role.

That of the designated distraction. Somebody is going to be climbing up the stools and bar very quietly behind the pigmasks, and one of them will reach up as if something light has tickled their neck.

Enzo might catch a glimpse of a few motes of dust in the light of the club.

But the pigmasks won't know what hit them.

"Another DCMC fan?" the higher ranked Pigmask asks after brushing his hand against his neck. "Awesome! Tonda Gossa!"

"He smells underage!" one of the lower ranks says before Enzo has a chance to answer.

"Hey!" the higher rank replies. "Watch your tongue, grunt! We DCMC fans have to stick together! We could use more fans in the ranks."

"He's too short to be a Pigmask!" the other lower rank protests.

"What do you mean? He's taller than the Chief!" the higher rank answers back.

"Yeah, uh, Tonda Gossa."

He smells underage? The heck? He really wants to ask how that works, but is afraid that that might somehow be a giveaway.

"So... what's up?"

[basic_powers]

Enzo will get a little tap on the shoulder as Tyler passes him by, and heads for the door.

[pullsneedles]

"We're not talking to you!" one of the lower ranks says.

"Hey, what did I say about that?" the higher rank says back. Then he turns to Enzo and goes, "Anyway, you're definitely tall enough to be a Pigmask. You talk to me when you get enough hours at the factory and we'll see about getting some decent people in our ranks."

The other Pigmask, who got the powder first, scratches what he thinks is an odd, little itch on his neck. If he had any idea...

Enzo's shoulder twitches slightly in acknowledgement of the tap.

"Sure, you bet!" He tries to look flattered. And he certainly can't argue about the height thing.

[basic_powers]

There'll be someone much shorter peering in through the open door to the hall.

"Enzo!"

[a1enzo]

Enzo turns, trying not to look relieved.

"Tyler! There you are, what kept you?"

[basic_powers]

"Urgh, some monsters kept attacking me along the way here. You get to see DCMC?" Tyler's looking a little frustrated and annoyed.

[a1enzo]

"Yeah, they were totally sweet!"

[pullsneedles]

It's about here that the itching powder took full effect and the Pigmasks all started jumping around.

"Oh man!" one of them cries out. "I've got an itch on my back I can't reach!"

"Me too! I've never hated my uniform as much as I do now!"

"You grunts get over here and scratch my back!"

Their legs wobble around in circles, similar to how Thomas walks.

To his credit, Tyler is absolutely deadpan confused.

"...what's with those guys?"

[a1enzo]

Enzo is not as good at deadpan, but he does his best.

"I guess they're itchy," he says with a shrug.

[basic_powers]

"Come on, we better hurry, or the monsters on the way back'll make us late for dinner...and I don't want to face the wrath of Dot." He ducks back out the door and calls.

"Come on!"

[a1enzo]

"Right, that'd be worse than the monsters. Later, uh, sirs!"

And he exits in pursuit of Tyler.

It's not long after that the bodyguards from before, looking quite beat up, toss the Pigmasks out and leave to go home themselves. But not without a sniff in Tyler and Enzo's direction.

Lucas, Boney, and Kumatora in her normal clothes go outside as well. Faint strains of music can be heard from inside and Lucky...

No, Duster...

...comes limping outside as well, sans his afro wig.

"Hey guys," Lucas says. "How'd it go back in the club? Oh yeah, and before I forget, I gotta send a note to Mister Wess."

He takes a piece of paper out of his pocket and writes a short note before taking out a sleeping homing pigeon. The pigeon wakes up and softly coos as Lucas ties the note to his leg and releases him.

...Tyler is so not going to ask where Lucas was keeping that pigeon all this time. He's just going to look at Enzo and then burst out into a fit of laughter.

Enzo does likewise. "Nice job, Tyler!"
