Once back inside, the Pigmask was awake and out of bed, his helmet taken off for the time being.
"I secretly listened in on your conversation," he says to Lucas, Kumatora, and Boney. "Me and you are enemies. Don't bother with me. Just go do what you need to do."
It seemed too generous an offer and Lucas opens his mouth to speak, but the Pigmask raises his hand to stop him.
"I have no intention of helping you guys out. That Magypsy helped me out, though. Even though I'm a complete stranger. So I'm gonna stay here and look after his rabbits. Then we'll be even."
"Thank you..." Kumatora says after a brief moment of silence.
********************************
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Lucas didn't know his lungs had the capacity to scream so much. Or that Kumatora and Boney had such tight grips. As they rode down the mountainside in the strange, white box, picking up speed, the screams only got louder and the holds only got tighter. And then they took off from the ground completely, turning blind corkscrews in the air.
Eventually they hit the ground again, flipping a few times before finally coming to a stop. The door opened and everybody fell out into the graveyard in Tazmily, crawling away from each other so that they might not get sick on one another.
"We're never doing that again," Lucas states once his stomach has been emptied.
"Agreed," Kumatora groans.
Boney whines. Lucas thinks it's just further agreement until he hears some barking.
"(There's a jar here,)" the dog thinks. "(It's hopping around.)"
Lucas picks up the jar in question and opens it up.
"There's a letter," the boy says. "It's got strange handwriting."
"This is the Pigmask Army's setup," Lucas says as they look around.
Before long, they come upon another hopping jar with another note in front of a strange table:
Boney hops onto the table, which makes a strange sound and bends its knees.
********************************
The ride on the coffee table was much more fun than the ride in the white box. As if by instinct, the little table took them exactly where the letters instructed. Once they dismount and go past some incomplete construction, they find a little creature that's more head and nose than anything else laying down on the ground.
"What are you doing?" Lucas asks.
"Watching Ceiling," the creature explains in a voice that reminds them of the text in the letters.
As they leave the cave, they find an entire village of the creatures. As well as the Pigmasks.
"This is Saturn Valley," one of them says to the group. "Don't make me explain any more than that. I'm not even really sure what the deal with this place is."
"Well, the letter sure makes sense now," Kumatora says. "Poor little guys."
Boney barks, "(I wonder what the Pigmasks are doing to them...)"
It didn't take long to find out. As soon as they looked in the first open house, they found a pair of Pigmasks cornering an entire group of the creatures with a strange device.
"You weakling, stinkling Mr. Saturns!" one of the Pigmasks cries out. "Don't force us to use this Frightbot to make you cry!"
"Enough of your stupid nonsense!" the other says. "Tell us where the Needle is or we'll make it tell you even scarier stories!"
********************************
House after house was the same until they came upon the last one, where they were surprised to find...
"Duster!" Lucas softly gasps.
He was tied to a huge pillar in the middle of the house, with Mr. Saturns hanging by the hairs on the top of their heads from clotheslines. To the far right of them was the Rope Snake.
"KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" the Frightbot screeched, sounding just like scratching on a chalkboard.
"Where is the Needle?!" one Pigmask demands. "Where in Saturn Valley is it?!"
"Do not know," one Mr. Saturn weakly protests.
"Don't lie!" the Pigmask growls. "You lied yesterday, too!"
The other Pigmask approaches the Mr. Saturns and says, "You'd better tell us or we'll start tickling your underarms again!"
"Yes yes. We are no good."
Suddenly, the first Pigmask turns to the group at the door.
"Who're you?! What do you want?!"
"Don't tell me these are the ones...?" the other Pigmask pipes up.
"Just get 'em!"
********************************
"Ahh! Our Frightbot!" one of the defeated Pigmasks cries. "We needed that! We must inform Mister Fassad immediately!"
"You'll pay for this! I'll make sure you pay!" the other shouts as they both leave.
"Fassad...?" Lucas wonders, looking at the retreating Pigmasks.
"Oh, here you are, Duster!" Kumatora says, going over to release him from his ties.
Once he's free, the happy reunion between the four friends begins.
"Lucas!! Kumatora!! Boney!! Thank goodness you're all right!"
"Thank goodness you're all right, Duster!" Lucas answers back to him. "But how?"
"The kind people of this valley rescued me," the thief explains. "But those other guys captured us all. But don't worry. The Egg of Light is safe."
"Geez," the princess groans. "Is this lucky or unlucky? I can't tell."
"You're all lucky. That's the only way I can see it..." Duster comments.
"Please to let down."
Duster looks at his Mr. Saturn friends before saying, "Let's let these guys down for now."
********************************
After all the Mr. Saturns were let down, the group sat and told Duster of the events at the Chimera Lab, Dinah's help, the Needle Lucas pulled at Doria's house, the trek to Snowcap Mountain, and the Masked Man.
"Hmmmmmm. I see..." the thief muses. "Needles that seal away the Dark Dragon. Hmm. Sounds like I should go with you. Lucas. I'm coming, too."
"Actually, we would've dragged you along with us anyway," Kumatora says with a smile.
Lucas nods with a little laugh.
Duster grins a bit at this before turning to one of the Mr. Saturns.
"The Pigmasks were asking about the Needle's location..." he begins. "Do you really not know where it is?"
"Do know. Doooooo know. Know. Do do know."
"They say they know!" Kumatora says. "Does that mean they've met one of the Magypsies?"
"Ding ding. Met. Can go far that way easy. Boing. Can go."
"'That way' means that way," Duster says, pointing. "I can tell by their eyes. North! They're saying to go toward the volcano to the north."
"I secretly listened in on your conversation," he says to Lucas, Kumatora, and Boney. "Me and you are enemies. Don't bother with me. Just go do what you need to do."

Attacked.
Very Bad.
Come to Thunder Area.
Thanks thanks.
Boney hops onto the table, which makes a strange sound and bends its knees.
