With a great KSSSSSSSSH! the limo lands at the entrance of Master Porky's neon haven, New Pork City. The streets are lined with lively distractions and familiar faces, the people of Tazmily bustling about at the cinema or the arcade.

Boney nudges his owner's hand with his nose, giving him a comforting lick. Kumatora puts a hand near her eyes, scanning the area. Duster fiddles with a wall staple, itching to move but wanting to stay still.

Lucas soaks it all in, frowning faintly.

"They know PK Starstorm," Lucas explains, being sure to put a shield up for Autor.

And not a moment too soon. Everyone's shielded just as the sign shows off the very attack, forcing the group down to the floor even with Lucas's PSI protection.

Enzo's forcefield absorbs some of the attack as well, before overloading.

"Okay, what the frag kind of high-level monster is that?! Seriously!"

Chest to the ground, Autor can't breathe enough to answer for a moment. He presses his hand to the floor and pushes himself to a crouch, searching for the sign.

"One we need to kill before it does that again," he says, grimacing. "Is there more than one?"

"I don't think so," Duster calls, briefly scanning the hallway before tossing a wall staple at the sign, pinning it back to the door.

Dinah dusts off her knees irritably as she stands. "New plan," she suggests. "I'll just try the ladies' bathrooms."

"Be careful," Autor says, checking another men's room door. "There's no guarantee the ladies' room signs won't be monsters as well."

"This is so random," Enzo mutters, raising his sword and throwing open another door.

Revealing a bathroom fuller than possible with ghosts.

Not particularly menacing ghosts. Just ghosts. Most of them are floating around. Some of them are attempting to eat and drink, leaving a mess of food and wine on the bathroom floor.

"Oh, it's you guys," Kumatora says. "What're you doing here instead of Osohe Castle?"

"We were brought here."

"Everything on the islands has been brought here."

"Living and unliving."

"It's one last party."

"Too bad the piano couldn't fit in here."

Duster, bass still in hand, plays a little for the ghost wishing for music.

Lucas and Boney, however, are not as familiar with the ghosts as the other two and have backed off some.

"It's okay," Enzo tells Lucas, sheathing his sword again. "I know what evil ghosts are like. They're not usually that subtle."

These aren't monologuing or anything, just expositing a little.

Autor's going to pretend he didn't just back right up against the door nearest to Lucas when the non-corporeal partiers poured through the door. He rallies at Enzo's statement, though.

"I'd hate to be the one who cleans up after them," Autor says, dry and quiet, though his lip lifts. "Shall we move on?"

Boney whimpers and paws at his nose.

"Yeah," Lucas says. "Yeah, let's go."

"Goodbye," the ghosts call, waving almost-transparent limbs in friendly farewell.

"Bye!" Dinah waves cheerfully and tries the next (women's) door.

Bringing them to the next hallway. Off in one end, some sort of overflow has happened. That or someone spilled a puddle sufficient enough for a fish to splash about in.

This hallway of bathrooms carries the sensation of quiet tension, like an animal breathing down the back of your neck.

Autor crosses to the edge of the puddle and blinks. "What do you think?" he asks. "Should we open the door here?"

The fish takes great care to flop on Autor's feet. Water continues to flow from under the door.

But then, the bathroom next to it emits a soft, rumbling growl.

"What on earth was that?" Duster asks.

"Major plumbing problems?" Enzo readies his sword.

"Ew," Autor tells the fish, clearly disapproving of its life choices. He turns to the rest. "Get ready; we might need to fight past here to progress."

Ping! goes the door, as Autor opens it. Inside, he spots a single white present--and then he yelps, stumbling backward.

Out bounces a monstrous pink beast with impossibly-short legs and teeth as long as one of the boy's skinny arms. Its mouth takes up more than half its body, its wings and devil's tail flicker menacingly, and... there's a bird perched on its head, and a button on its back.

Ping! A yellow exclamation mark appears above its head, and the monster charges, teeth bared and gaze hungry.

"Oh heck!" Lucas yelps himself.

Boney bolts, leading the way through another ladies' room door that Kumatora's left open. Kumatora, however, rushes forward to help Autor out.

"Time to go, Glasses," she says before hauling him away.

"Back to the status quo!" says Enzo, guarding their rear.

"At least you know where you stand with these."

Dinah takes the front, of course, and charges forward to meet the beast - or at least to appear to meet it before dropping to the ground and sweeping a leg towards its own tiny stumps.

Oh it's this human again. Well, not gonna get the drop on- wait, what? The Ultimate Chimera's massive mouth slams shut as body meets floor. He growls, a rumble loud enough to be mistaken for a nearby plane. He tries to get his leg stumps under his body again.

When he does, however, his tail is pinned by a wall staple.

Autor, for his part, sags against a nearby wall, as far away as he can get from the thing without presenting himself as a target. Kumatora is his cover of choice.

"S-So can we k-kill it?" he asks, hands shaking.

"We fought it before," Lucas says, by which he means Dinah fought it before and she's the only reason they stand any chance now.

"We can stall him," Duster answers, arming himself with more wall staples. "Find the way out."

"Got it!" Kumatora calls, one hand on the door and one arm guarding Autor.

Enzo moves to the side of the door, ready to poke holes in anything which might come through the other way.

Kumatora wrenches it wide open to a thankfully empty (save for Boney) and much shorter hallway. Inside is a single door.

"In we get, guys," she says, ushering Lucas, Enzo, and Autor in.

Meanwhile, the Ultimate Chimera lurches up again and gives a great roar in Dinah and Duster's faces, shaking the hallway.
