Lucas peers into the door from Milliways.
Yep, still Kumatora's bathroom.
"I'll be right back," he tells Enzo and Tyler.
He steps into the bathroom and out into Kumatora's bedroom, Boney beside him. The three talk for a bit, catching up after the three years they've been separated. What to do about Duster, the Hummingbird Egg, and the Pigmask Army.
The plan is simple enough: Lucas is going to go up into the attic while Kumatora, as Violet, goes out and collects the members of DCMC. Once she's out of the room, Lucas goes back to Milliways.
"So guys, I think there might be a change of plans. I gotta sneak through the attic so the bodyguards in the hallway won't see me. Feel like coming along?"
Boney, wearing a red and white cap and a green shirt, pokes his head out and gives them a "Woof!" of greeting.

Hello, Boney!
"Sure, I'm up for it."

Enzo offers his hand to the dog for sniffage. "Heya, boy. Um... why is he...?" With his free hand, he gestures at the dog's clothes.
no subject
"I had to get him into the club with me somehow."
He's still in faint disbelief that it actually worked.
Boney whines a little bit at the giggling before sniffing and licking Enzo's hand.
"C'mon in but be quiet. There are bodyguards outside the door. The ladder to the attic is just over here."
He lets them into Kumatora's room via a bathroom closet. The bathroom has both a shower and a hot spring while the room is a bit simpler. The only thing out of place is a hole in the floor with a ladder leading down and a panel on a wall that has a ladder leading up.
"I dunno what's gonna be up there. You guys ready just in case?"
no subject
"I'm good. Got a pack full of snacks, flashlight, first aid kit AND my utility belt." Tyler answers. "Just in case."
no subject
Hey, Tyler is always so well-prepared it's scarcely worth bringing anything else.

He takes a moment to look down at the stick he's been using as a weapon. It's a heavy piece of wood, one that can obviously do damage.
"I brought some food, too," he says. "Even some that helps with my PSI. And Boney, of course. We'll be fine, I think."
He and Boney climb up the ladder into the first room of the attic, where some greedier mice and arachnids (!!!!) are waiting.

"Those are some pretty big spiders."

He goes over to quietly talk with the mouse.
"He's got a store," he says, looking over his shoulder. "Anything you guys wanna buy? I've got some DP with me."
Boney, meanwhile, sticks his head in the doorway near the mouse. He comes back quickly and informs Lucas that it's a dead end but there's a box to get.

He's good thanks.

"Bread rolls, antidotes for the spiders, anti-paralysis medicine, sprinting bombs, and pencil rockets."
And a stick that's better than the one he's currently using. He decides to go ahead and make that exchange.
no subject
"I don't even know what those last two are."
no subject
Look, his first aid kit comes with one snakebite kit, and he doesn't like the look of those spiders.
no subject
He nods at Tyler's suggestion and gets eight antidotes and eight anti-paralysis meds, doling them out to everyone in the group. He then steps into the next room and gets to the box Boney told him about.
"There's a map in here," he says, stepping out again. "And guessin' from how this room is set up, the blue pathways are the open ones."
It's about here that the spiders get tired of waiting and make a move at whoever's closest to them. Lucas puts the map away and readies his stick while Boney steps up with a growl.

Enzo automatically adopts a ready stance. He raises his left hand with the grappler, which, in a pinch, can deliver a hefty impact. With his right, he grasps the only other thing he's got to hand.
no subject
Tyler might be growling a little as well, getting back into a fighting stance.

The other arachnid turns and points a shot of web at Enzo.
"Careful! That's what'll paralyze ya!" Lucas says before moving to smash the spider with his stick.
no subject
A further one looks gearing up to web at the boys again. The grapple is potentially deadly at close range, but also inclined to get him inconveniently stuck to, say, the floor. So he hurls the yo-yo instead.

Meanwhile, Enzo's yo-yo had sent the other one flying away.
"You guys are good," Lucas says, wiping some sweat from his brow.
Wait, sweat on his brow?
"Aw crud," he says. "I got a PSI fever. I'll have to walk for a bit."
Boney sniffs around and leads the way to the other door while Lucas moves so he can take the rear.
no subject
"Thanks. We've both got plenty of training. You're not so bad yourself. What's PSI fever?"
Rapid onset, whatever it is.
no subject
He surveys the room. The mice besides the one with the shop scurried over to the next room.
"I can walk it off. They usually don't last too long."
